A student at the University of Manchester, Seraphina was walking home one winter night and everything changed. She was crossing Victoria Bridge and a car skidded on some ice. Sera dodged out of the way, only to slip on ice herself and went over the edge towards the River Irwell. She saw the river tipping up towards her and then… She was standing calmly on the side of the road again.

A man stood there, a man with a friendly smile and confident manner. He dusted snow from her shoulder and gave her a wink. “Careful, love,” he said, and walked on his way down the road.

Sera stared at his retreating back as her heart raced with excitement and relief. “I want to do that!” she said to herself. Someone must have been listening.

Lineage: Amanda Sykes - Abe Sykes - Lin Wen - Adam Milliard
Power Level: Tier Five
Offspring: None, closed vector (since she only uses her powers on those already given dark energy).

Personality: Sera is a young student, primed for idealism, when she meets Adam Milliard. She is looking for a purpose in life and she finds it in nationalism and a sense of justice with the Court of England. She is young and idealistic when she gets her powers, fearless in a way that only adolescents can be. She thinks of herself as clever and resourceful and even though she isn’t especially talented in those areas her confidence carries her pretty far.

Loyalties: Her Team (2). This is originally the Court of England but later it’s the British Defenders.

Dark Energy Mirror 5d + 5hd (225 points)

Seraphina has the ability to steal powers from other metahumans by touching them. This is just like the Power Mimic ability in Wild Talents but Sera tends to use it along with the Attack Capacity of her Teleport power (below). She can jump into the space someone is occupying and knock them backwards (dealing Shock and Killing damage as normal) while at the same time utilizing Dark Energy Mirror. This is a Multiple Action situation, though, which means she has to use the Teleport pool for both, but Dark Energy Mirror just needs one set (however tall) to activate so it’s not such a raw deal.

Teleport 4d + 2hd (56 points)

With the Booster Extra, Seraphina can teleport nearly two miles as long as its for transportation purposes. If she’s using it conjunction with her Dark Energy Mirror ability, though, she’s limited to the normal 320 yards.

Light Armor 3hd (12 points)

Just like in Wild Talents, but with Duration instead of Endless so she has to activate it. Seraphina isn’t that tough a customer, relying on her Teleport ability to avoid getting hit at the beginning of a fight and then stealing armor from someone else.

Defends Extras and Flaws: Armored Defense -2, Duration +2. Capacities: Self.

Hypertactics 3d (3 points)

Seraphina has an enhanced spatial sense and an ability to size up threats in order to see who is the best to steal from. This translates to an increased Tactics skill.
